EBS - Delivery Options Fax configuration on EBS R12, Delivery Manager

Here is a filtered information for you.
In order to be able to fax from EBS (Using Delivery Options>Fax), you should be able to "fax" from the EBS application servers.

So, there are 2 methods here,
1)Connect a fax modem to the Application server and make the fax confiuration on the Application Server OS and then edit the printer driver of EBS to execute the faxing command.
2)Find a software which can communicate with fax machine / IPP printer which support faxing, and execute that software in the EBS printer driver to send the fax instructions to the Faxing Device.
Note that, altough I didnt try yet, the software called Hylafax may be used for this..

1) "Delivery Options" on the Submit Request form calls the  XML Publisher's Delivery Manager API.

4) A fax modem or a software which can send faxing instructions to the IPP printer which is capable of faxing.
