Yesterday, we (my friend Orhan Eripek and I) attended Oracle Cloud Day 2018 Istanbul, as the speakers..

Our presentation was about a Core Banking migration project.

It was a real life story, and it was directly related with cloud... Our target in this project was to migrate a Core Banking database to a Half Rack Exadata Cloud at Customer machine (ECC).

We had a limited amount of time (30 minutes) to give our presentation.. It was a short period of time explain this process but we believe that we could give the general information about the processes that we have done, the methods that we have followed, the things we have learned, the facts that we discovered and the gains that we achieved by migrating a Core Banking database to Exadata Cloud at Customer (ECC).

Note that , it was a cross platform migration -- (IBM AIX - Power to Exadata Linux - Intel)

We presented our presentation during a TROUG session (just after the lunch) and we pleased to have a large audience (mostly technical)..
