Today I received an email about the Anthropic Copyright Settlement, which was an unexpected reminder of how AI training data can directly affect individual authors. After checking the official settlement website, I saw that one of my works (especially Practical Oracle E-Business Suite, The Book, Apress 2017) appears in the lookup list. It is a strange feeling to see your work surface this way, through a legal notice rather than through readers. Cases like this show how urgently the relationship between creators, copyright, and AI still needs clearer boundaries.
