  1. Hi Erman,

Do we have any step by step installation procedure to configure Oracle WebCenter with EBS 12.1.3?
As docs available on Metalink are confusing.

  2. Hi Prashant,
    You have UCM, right...
The Document Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite (11i, R12, and R12.1) with Content Management Repositories (Doc ID 1061947.1) in Oracle Support is pretty understandable.
I suggest you to follow that document.

    Key notes/ Things to consider:

The integration between EBS and the Content Management repository (UCM) is achieved using the WEBDAV protocol.

You ll need to start your work by applying the patch 9071475:R12.DOM.B

You must set "Self-Service Oracle Files Enabled" to "Yes" at your desired application level

    And so on....

In short; you need to follow and do the steps in that document.
Do the steps from the title "Integrating E-Business Suite with UCM" till the title "Integrating E-Business Suite with Oracle Content DB/Oracle Files Online" .. Dont do "Integrating E-Business Suite with Oracle Content DB/Oracle Files Online" ..

Okay. you can create an issue in my forum, if you have more questions about any problems ..

    1. Hi Erman,

Document you suggested talks about using OLM content server built on top of weblogic server.

But we can also use Webcenter content as content server for OLM. Customer wanted use webcenter content as content server for OLM.

We have implemented this setup but have some issues while playing the content. I thought you might have worked in such integration OLM with Webcenter content?

      Then that helps us.

      Regards
      Karthik G

    2. Dear karthik,
Any specific reason for using webcenter as a content server instead of using content on top of Web logic. We have same confusion which method we should use.

  11. Hi! Erman.
I am getting 403 Error when trying the contentserver page using weblogic

  12. Did you make a search in Oracle Support? (using the keyword:HTTP 403 Content Server) There are issues reported and solutions provided for WebCenter Content.
As for the debugging/analyzing , check the log files of the webserver and application server (weblogic)
    Also, obtain a fiddler trace for throubleshooting;
How to Capture a Fiddler Trace to Troubleshoot Issues and View HTTP(s) Requests (Doc ID 1547259.1)
